Real Cookie Banner

We use the “Real Cookie Banner” consent tool to manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and the relevant consents. Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found at https://devowl.io/knowledge-base/real-cookie-banner-data-processing/.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 (1) © GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the relevant consents.

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we cannot manage your consents.

Scope

This privacy policy is intended to inform the users of this website in accordance with the European Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator. The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003).

Access data

The website operator or website hoster collects data about accesses to the site and stores them as “server log files”. The following data is logged in this way:

  • Visited website
  • Time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference from which you reached the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

The data collected is only used for statistical evaluations and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

Contact us

If you contact us by form on the website or by e‑mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for a certain period of time for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO). We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Cookies

Our website sometimes uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.
When deactivating cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Security measures

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, circumstances and purposes of the processing, as well as the varying likelihood and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

Cooperation with processors and third parties

If, in the course of our processing, we disclose data to other persons and companies (processors or third parties), transmit it to them or otherwise grant them access to the data, this will only be done on the basis of a legal permission (e.g. if a transmission of the data to third parties, such as to payment service providers, is required for the performance of the contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO), you have consented, a legal obligation provides for this or on the basis of our legitimate interests (e.g. when using agents, web hosts, etc.).

If we commission third parties with the processing of data on the basis of a so-called “order processing agreement”, this is done on the basis of Art. 28 DSGVO.

Right

You are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in some way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

Contact details / Responsible person

The responsible party for data processing is B2B Travel & Event Management GmbH.

You can request information about your personal data stored by us free of charge at any time. As a data subject, you also have the right to revocation, information, deletion, correction, restriction and transfer of your personal data, insofar as this is not opposed by a legal obligation to retain data on our part.

For more information about your rights as a data subject, please contact us at office@btma.at or mirjam.sragalj@btma.at. We will be happy to help you.

Other

We have implemented organizational and technical safeguards, which we evaluate on an ongoing basis and adapt as necessary, to protect your personal data that we store and process.

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time and to adapt it to new developments. The new version applies from the time it is made available on our website.
